As I mentioned in the past, I am still guarded when it comes to beta information. I am keeping my eye on the frequent changes, am worried about patch 3.0, but have to say that thanks to Ciderhelm over at Tankspot, I might be getting a widdle bit excited.
Lo and behold, a level 71 protection warrior in a mix of quest gear and current TBC tanking gear, taking a stroll on the Ata’mal Terrace in SMV.
Update: The Vimeo video is gone, unfortunately, no more HD version available. I found a copy at YouTube, which strangely enough cannot be embedded. Try the link instead.
Holy crap. That is exciting stuff. I love multi-tanking mobs, so this is making me a bit giddy.
I have to say thanks to Ciderhelm, whose enthusiasm and excitement for all protection warrior changes currently seen in the beta is contagious. Anyone who is curious about the changes should go over to Tankspot and follow Ciderhelm’s postings.

Actually I have to correct myself, according to Ciderhelm, Damage Shield is currently broken in the beta, and the damage is from a Felsteel Shield Spike.

Ok, now I’m a little excited too. o.O
I think I just changed my mind (again!) about which character to level first come WotLK!

@Cariad: My plan was to level as fury warrior, but I think I might have to level protection. The Blizzard blues weren’t kidding when they said they want to bring the fun factor to warrior tanking!
